Voice Anywhere ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our macOS application.

2. Information We Collect

Audio Data: We temporarily process audio from your microphone solely for speech-to-text conversion. Audio is processed in real-time and is not stored permanently.

Device Identifier: We generate a unique, anonymous device identifier stored securely in your device's Keychain. This identifier is hashed before being sent to our servers and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Usage Data: We track the duration of speech-to-text usage to manage free trial limits. This data is associated only with your anonymous device identifier.

Purchase Information: If you subscribe, Apple handles all payment processing. We receive only confirmation of your subscription status, not your payment details.

4. Data Processing

On-Device Processing: When available, we use Apple's native speech recognition which processes audio entirely on your device.

Cloud Processing: For languages not supported by on-device recognition, audio may be sent to Google Cloud Speech-to-Text for processing. Google's privacy policy applies to this processing.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Audio data is processed in real-time and not permanently stored
• Device identifiers are cryptographically hashed before server transmission
• Usage data is stored securely with automatic expiration after 1 year
